The subtle, banana-like aroma is one of the defining characteristics of Hirter Weizen. It comes from our natural, top-fermenting yeast, cultivated in-house, which also gives the beer its mildly spicy notes and its signature fruity character.

Hirter Weizen is brewed with selected barley and wheat malts, along with Hallertau aroma hops. As with all Hirter specialty beers, we use only water from our 24 mountain springs. This soft, crystal-clear spring water is naturally ideal for brewing and requires no treatment before use. For shelf stability, we rely on a gentle double filtration process that preserves the beer’s pure, natural flavor. Naturally cloudy and wonderfully fresh, Hirter Weizen offers a smooth, full-bodied flavor and leaves a perfectly rounded, satisfying finish on the palate.
