Since 1846, our current owner family – in the fifth and sixth generations under Dr. Klaus Möller and Niki Riegler – has been leading our private brewery with a clear vision for the future. In doing so, they secure our independence and uncompromisingly pursue the highest quality standards.

We are convinced that the more time we take, the better our beers become. Depending on the beer, our brews mature anywhere from five weeks to six months. Only through the time we take in brewing can we guarantee the quality of our beer diversity.
That’s why we are proud to bear the Slow Brewing seal, the toughest seal of approval for beer worldwide. Only 32 breweries in Europe meet its strict standards, and compliance is verified through monthly audits.
