Using time-honored recipes, a traditional, all-natural Vollbier has been brought back to life and refined for modern tastes. Hirter 1270 owes its unmistakable color to gently roasted, caramelized brewing malt. Its exceptionally long conditioning and maturation period make Hirter 1270 a truly distinctive specialty beer, crafted for those with a discerning palate.

As with all Hirter specialty beers, we use only water from our 24 mountain springs. This soft, crystal-clear spring water is naturally ideal for brewing and requires no treatment before use. For shelf stability, we rely on a gentle double filtration process that preserves the beer’s pure, natural flavor. The use of the purest aroma hops, together with caramelized brewing malt, creates a finely balanced, malty character, complemented by gentle, well-integrated carbonation.
