On Hirt Brewing Day, you’ll experience the craft of traditional brewing from start to finish – from mashing in to the final touches. And best of all, you’ll brew your very own signature beer.

Your Hirt Brewing Day Experience
You’ll begin with a compact introduction to the essential ingredients and the wide variety of Austrian beer styles. Then it’s straight into the action: you’ll take part in the full brewing process – from mashing in to the hop addition.
Between each stage, there’s time to dive deeper during breaks, including a brewery tour, a beer tasting, and a sensory workshop. After lautering, the wort is boiled and finished with carefully selected hops.
Brew your very own beer.
While the wort is boiling, take a break and enjoy a fine lunch in the Hirt brewery cellar. Then it’s back to brewing: the cooled wort is filled into fermentation tanks, and with the addition of yeast, the process is brought to its final, decisive step.
To remember this special day, each participant takes home a 12-pack (0.33 L bottles) of their favorite Hirter beer.
